There’s an alternate universe where things work out. It exists, a Shrödinger possibility where things will be okay, the cat lives and countries, communities, and people all share. They share what they have as altruism, kindness, and empathy brings out our better angels. One where yours is mine and mine is yours, and your struggles are carried equally on my shoulders. There is a world like that, there is . . . just not this one.
